What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to remember information about your visit. We also use similar technologies such as web beacons, local storage, and SDK identifiers (collectively, 'cookies' for the purposes of this Policy).

Categories we use

  • 01Strictly necessary — required to operate the website, route requests, remember your cookie preferences, and provide security. These cannot be disabled.
  • 02Optional analytics — enabled only after you accept. A browser identifier is stored in local storage to associate page visits, section views and, if you submit an inquiry while opted in, your inquiry with that visit. Analytics are not required to browse public content.
  • 03The public website analytics described here do not use advertising cookies.

Third parties

The website sends its optional analytics to Alexa's own website API rather than a third-party advertising tracker. Essential authentication and anti-abuse functions are separate from optional analytics.

Your choices

  • 01Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject optional analytics at any time. Rejecting does not restrict access to public content. Withdrawal stops future analytics and removes the local analytics identifier; it does not automatically delete previously submitted records.
  • 02Configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will impair site functionality.
  • 03Use the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — we honor GPC for visitors from jurisdictions where it is recognized.

Do Not Track

Because there is no industry-wide consensus on how to interpret browser Do-Not-Track signals, our site does not currently respond to DNT. We do honor GPC where applicable.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. The 'last reviewed' date at the top of this page indicates when it was most recently revised.
