Position Overview
We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to develop business and manage customer relationships across healthcare, pharmaceuticals and higher education. You will sell cybersecurity and data security products, subscriptions and managed services to hospitals, healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, research institutions and universities. Working closely with our technical and delivery teams, you will connect customer needs with appropriate solutions and manage opportunities from initial engagement through contract closure, renewal and expansion. This role is suited to someone who can build trusted relationships, understand complex buying processes and explain the business value of cybersecurity clearly.
Hybrid working arrangement combining office-based work at Ecopark, Hung Yen, Vietnam, remote work and customer meetings. Success means a qualified pipeline, new customer wins, sustainable account growth, accurate forecasts and strong collaboration with presales, technology partners and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective customers across healthcare, pharmaceuticals and universities through direct outreach, referrals, partner collaboration, events and existing relationships.
- Build relationships with decision-makers in IT, information security, procurement, finance, research administration and executive leadership.
- Develop account plans reflecting customer priorities, budgets, procurement processes and security needs.
- Position cybersecurity products, subscriptions, professional services and managed security services based on customer requirements.
- Work with presales specialists to qualify needs, arrange demonstrations and coordinate technical evaluations or proofs of concept.
- Prepare proposals, quotations and tender responses with clear scope, commercial terms and customer outcomes.
- Explain the value of data loss prevention, data security, endpoint protection, network security, application security and managed security operations, including investment options and total cost of ownership.
- Healthcare: address the protection of patient information, clinical systems and hospital operations while supporting service continuity.
- Pharmaceuticals: address risks involving intellectual property, research data, clinical trial information, manufacturing systems and third-party access.
- Higher education: support protection of student and staff records, research information and distributed campus environments.
- Connect sector-specific challenges to practical security controls with technical specialists, without overstating product capabilities or compliance outcomes.
- Own the sales cycle from qualification and discovery through negotiation, closing and delivery handover.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, next steps, forecasts and account activity. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on scope, licensing, pricing and delivery dependencies.
- Track renewals, identify expansion opportunities and work with delivery teams to address customer concerns after the sale.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B technology sales, account management or business development, preferably involving cybersecurity, enterprise software, IT infrastructure or managed services.
- A track record of developing opportunities, managing customer relationships and closing commercial agreements.
- Experience selling to hospitals, healthcare groups, pharmaceutical companies or universities is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement, requests for proposals, tender processes and negotiations involving multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to explain technical solutions in terms of business risk, operational value and financial impact.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and account-planning skills.
- Professional working proficiency in Vietnamese and English for customer engagement, vendor coordination and sales documentation.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and attend customer meetings as required.
- A relevant degree in business, information technology or a related discipline is helpful. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
