Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on DLP / Data Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of data protection programs for our enterprise customers in Vietnam. The successful candidate will deploy and tune DLP platforms across endpoint, network, email, and cloud channels, build data classification and discovery frameworks, and work directly with customer security teams to reduce data leakage risk while supporting compliance with Vietnamese data protection regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy enterprise DLP solutions across endpoint, network, email, web, and cloud (CASB/SaaS) channels.
• Develop and maintain data classification schemes, sensitive-data discovery scans, and labeling policies.
• Build, tune, and continuously optimize DLP detection rules and policies to reduce false positives while catching real exfiltration.
• Operate incident triage workflows for DLP alerts — investigate events, coordinate response with customer SOC teams, and document findings.
• Advise customers on data protection requirements under Vietnamese regulations (including PDPD — Decree 13/2023) and industry frameworks such as ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.
• Integrate DLP telemetry with SIEM/SOAR platforms and produce executive-level reporting on data risk posture.
• Support pre-sales activities: solution architecture, proof-of-concept deployments, and technical presentations.
• Create runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions for customer teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience deploying or operating DLP or data security platforms (e.g. Microsoft Purview, Symantec/Broadcom DLP, Forcepoint, Trellix, Zscaler, Netskope).
• Solid understanding of data classification, encryption, rights management, and insider-risk concepts.
• Experience working with enterprise email, endpoint, and network infrastructure in large organizations.
• Familiarity with Vietnamese data protection regulations and common compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in both Vietnamese and English.
