Position Overview
We are looking for a curious AI SOC Intern to join delivery projects that modernize enterprise security operations. You will learn from security architects and engineers while contributing to research, testing, documentation, data mapping, and operational readiness activities. This is an opportunity to build a foundation in SOC operations, security automation, AI security, and enterprise consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support research on AI security, SOC modernization, detection use cases, automation patterns, and emerging threats.
- Assist with log-source inventories, data mapping, use-case documentation, and test preparation.
- Help validate detection rules, automation playbooks, dashboards, and analyst workflows under engineering supervision.
- Document findings, test evidence, runbooks, meeting notes, and knowledge-base articles clearly and accurately.
- Participate in internal training, technical workshops, and customer delivery activities appropriate to the internship scope.
- Contribute ideas for improving AI-assisted security operations while following established security and data-handling practices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as alerts, logs, incidents, access control, and network or cloud security.
- Interest in SOC operations, security automation, AI security, or threat detection.
- Basic scripting, data analysis, or technical documentation skills.
- Strong curiosity, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work responsibly with sensitive information.
- Fluent English, written and spoken, is required for training materials, documentation, and international collaboration.
